    Shimano Saint BBs have longer cups and threads that reach further into the frame.

    Mine didn't. It was an older saint, but the threads were exactly the same length as an SLX one, and the Hope that eventually replaced it.

    the new ones(the gold cup saints) have a bit longer threads

    yes it is. the old ones were pretty much the same as any other shimano BB. the new ones are different.

    Im trying to help the OP find a BB with longer threads here, not argue with you whether my link is to the older model or newer model cranks?

    The point is i was right with what I was saying, the Saint BB has deeper threaded cups. which maybe what the OP requires.

    maybe you cold be less of an ar5ehole, and just say "nope, the newer one do in fact havee longer threads"
