Thats about right
I remember the admiring looks as i walked around after completing my last lap 22 hours in with a nice cold beer !0 -
Yeah...they DO sound like fun, until it pee's it down at 10pm, and 40 min laps turn to 1.5hrs!
Think my team were gonna send out a Search and Rescue chopper for me at one time!
Had to change tyres/cables, as they just totally clogged up with mud and clay few yrs back.
But...great memories.0 -

I heard that team cake were a bunch of lycra faggot tossers who couldn't have put out a single decent lap if they'd been on motorized Cancellera bikes.
And I heard they got beaten by most of the solo women.0 -

Get back on that bike, you Welsh Wuss, lol !!!
I said the same, when we rode from Vancouver to Whistler, in 80 plus heat.
Sat on the Whistler Chateau floor, waiting for a replacement door pass, and siezed up!!
Mind, you after a night of FREE Mexican food/beer, rode the "Bear Cub Trail" the next day.
And loved every pain-filled second...0 -
