What supplements are best to help with this?
At the moment my strategy is to pop a multi-vit (maybe something in it will help, never know ) and drink protein shakes, milk and have boiled eggs w/ soldiers just before bed.
So...any suggestions other then cold baths?
I often have the time to ride more often, but my legs don't agree with me.

Only around 50 miles at the moment but I tend to average around 19 mph. I just can't slow myself down, so after two days in a row my legs hurt. I've been fitter in the past and able to deal with it, but it doesn't change the fact that I'd like to know more on how to recover from hard rides, even if the distance of said ride increases soon. :?The British Empire never died, it just moved to the Velodrome0 -
R&R.
Your body is best at telling you this with the muscles repairing. Carry on with the protein shakes and maybe look at glucosamine sulphate. I pop one of these to aid recovery.
After a 19mph av ride try taking the next one alot slower with high cadence. The sooner you recover the more faster rides you can fit into your routine.0
