Ferrari is being misleading on purpose but drinking that much orange juice regularly will likely cause diabetes, and you can die from that and lose limbs.
EPO is MUCH more dangerous and easier to abuse than orange juice, but neither is safe in excess.0 -

Doubt it. I can buy orange juice in my local shop with loose change. I'd probably need at least doctors letter or prescription or something, as well as a LOT more than loose change, if I wanted to get a hold of some EPO (which I don't!)The most painful climb in Northern Ireland http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs200.snc1/6776_124247198694_548863694_2335754_8016178_n.jpg0 -

I meant, if you were taking both, it'd be a lot harder to harm yourself with orange juice.0 -

Well, neither do I, but an idle moment of putting "buy EPO" into Google suggests that you can buy a box of EPO from incredibly dodgy online pharmacies for about $300 for 10000IU
Of course they might not be real websites, or it might just be floor cleaner, and most people would have no idea how much to inject without the help of a doctor, but that's a lot cheaper than I expected.0 -
After this weekends F1 I completely misunderstood the title.
I really must concentrate more and work harder to get a fully bike orientated life.0 -

I did that with a mate awhile ago too. Most of those sites look like were run by 5 year olds.
Medicine is available from a pharmacy for a very good reason0 -

This is a facile argument as there's no incentive to overdo the orange juice is there?___________________

I presume after Armstrong's remarks on France 2 about Lemond telling the truth about 89, his close family friend thought he'd offer some corroboration? Unfortunately, Ferrari's credibility is about as good as Landis'0

What a tremendous amount of reading incomprehension. Ferrari did not quantify or find an equivalence of risk. He said EPO Abuse and large quantities of OJ were dangerous, but he went way out of his way not to do a direct comparison of how dangerous each was. There's no way of telling if he thinks that amount of OJ is more or less dangerous, or hardly, or very dangerous.
He deserves to be picked apart honestly, not by creating strawmen to knock down.
