We're continually adjusting and trying new things to improve where we can!
Thanks to how close we are with manufacturers we can put it into production as soon as we are happy to do so.
Don't quote me on this but we're working on a few styling cues. official updates to come hopefully march/april time.0 -
Hi Matt
Is there any plan to do larger sizes? I did buy XL Pro Bib shorts and had to return them as they were just too tight. Now I am no porker, with a 35-36" waist and 42" chest, 5'11" tall, so was surprised that I couldn't get in them! They were simply too tight round the thigh and bum (no, I'm no Cancellara either!!!!)
Supposedly Italian clothing comes up 'small', but XL in Giordana etc seems to fit me perfectly. I would love to support Shutt, being a British company and I am sure others of my size would too!
Cheers

That's strange, i'm a bit smaller than you and medium is big enough.Smarter than the average bear.0

That is strange PP as I am identical size to you and I bought a large in the pro bibs which fit perfectly (albeit tight fitting) - I can't see how you wouldn't fit into the XL?
Did you speak to SVR at the time? I can only think they were badged up wrong and weren't actually an XL.
Maybe try again (or buy a new tape measure!!)Cervelo P3

I have just ordered a pair of Shutt Pro shorts after reading all the positive stuff on here.. I have a pair of Assos Mille that I like & 2 pairs of the cheapest Assos shorts that they have stopped making so I have got something to compare them to.. Looking forward to seeing how they stack up against Assos...0

We have expanded the sizing on jerseys and are working on the shorts. I have the the larges even though I', 33" waist, 6ft. But my legs seem to come and go as the season comes round. I struggle to fit into some of my trousers mid summer!
If you want DM me a measure of your thigh, and seat. and I'll take a look at sizing and see where that leaves us! Maybe be able to sort something out.

I bought a pair of Shutt VRs on the basis of all the positive comments here. I am ordinarily an Assos man, and have 3/4 pairs of Assos shorts. I have only ridden the Shutts once, so don't have many miles on which to make a judgement. However, for a bit more than half the price of a pair of Assos I have to say they are very good. They seem pretty much as comfy as the Assos, perhaps a little bigger size for size, and a little shorter in the leg. Good buy and I'd recommend you have a look.0

Thanks for that, I have been deliberating on wether I should go for a pair of the Shutt pro Shorts. Have a bit of a mixed view on the Shutt gear. Ordered one of their jerseys last year and recieved two by mistake. Buy one get one free I thought! Anyhow there was an inch difference in the length of both jerseys, even though they both were supposed to be large. Sent back the one that was the worst fit. Now on the whole I loved the jersey, great material, lovely fit ( well one of them!) and I really do want to support a British company, but the general wear and tear of the jersey has been poor. Had only worn it about 4 times when a hole appeared between the rear pockets. I had not put anything unusual in the pockets, they just seem to me me very tight compared to some other jersey's. Yes I know I should have sent it back and all that, and they do seem like really genuine guys, I just thought ' well I have had the top a while, maybe they are not all that. So I think I will give them another go on the bib shorts, please god a hole does not appear on the rear of them!!0 -
Cornerblock, I think you were unlucky. I have two jerseys, one of which is two years old. Both are still immaculate, and tend to get worn more regularly than my Assos ones.0

Mate drop them an email. I will be shocked if they don't offer a free repair or replacement.
Just bought the SVR pro bibs but not worn on re bike yet. Good quality and fit thoCervelo P3

I had a jersey arrive that was about 3" too short. Sent it back and had it replaced. Love the replacement. Funny but I think the jersey is a bit loose (are you talking about the jersey or the pocket being tight?).
It seems as though, whilst the customer service is great, the quality control is slightly shaky judging by the number of customer services experiences on here....ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

I will bear the offer in mind of sending measurements. I have since bought Assos shorts, so when I am next looking for a pair I will try Shutt once more.

I mean the rear pockets are tight. I'ts a hole just above the rear right and middle pockets, where they join. The bulkiest thing that has been in the pockets has been a stowaway jacket, which rolls up fairly small so I would expect the pockets to cope with that and an energy bar or two. And as far as I am aware there is no strain on the jersey from the belly region!! As I said, the jersey is lovely, really liked it and I am not criticising Shutt as company, as I think they are doing a lot of things right. Lovely products, reasonably priced and from what I can tell great customer service. The 'hole' thing just kind of put me off and made me look elsewhere when choosing clothing. Having said all that, lots of people rave about the shorts, can't all be wrong, so I will try them.0 -
I get the same problem with my Rapha jersey, a hole where the pocket is attached. I think perhaps that's a weak spot in wool jerseys.Smarter than the average bear.0

Quick update on this thread.. Only been out for one decent ride on the Shutt VR Pro bibs so far but I think they are pretty good.. They look and feel like they are well put together and felt v comfortable on the bike.. It will be good to try them on a longer day in the saddle but I am impressed with them so far.. I think they do stack up to Assos ( certainly compared to the cheapest, now discontinued Assos bibs), and are good vfm...0 -

So did I. My wife stitched a piece of webbing on the inside across the stress points. Im sure Rapha would have done it free if Id sent it back. On my 2010 jersey this modification has already been done in manufacture.Pegoretti

Today I recieved a brand new replacement jersey from the guys at Shutt. As good as their word on the repair or replace policy. Great customer service and reassuring to know you are buying from a company who take pride in their products and care about the customer.
Thanks Pete.0
