In which case try shorter intervals then, anything longer than 5 minutes is such a mental challenge that its easy to give up. If you can do a session of 10 mins warm up, then 5 x 5 minutesd at race pace / as hard as you can sustain for the length of time with 1 minute rest intervals..0
