It's possibility, but the police will have his associates under surveillance.

As for making phone calls, unless he has taken a solar charger his mobile will be running out of juice.

I give him a few days of living rough before he get D&V.

As soon as he is confronted with gun totting coppers who shoot back he will take the cowards way out and nibble the end of his pistol.

The ginger nutter is not a cop killer, he only shot and wounded the PC. Thinking about it, he is a cr@p mad gun man. Of the three people he has shot he has only managed to kill one.
    66% failure rate.

You are assuming he was trying to kill all 3.

If his first letter / phone calls to police are correctly revealed then he did not try to kill his ex. He was trying to injure her so she could claim compensation from the CICA and leave her set up for her future and thast of their child(ren).

That being the case, then the failure rate is down to 33.3333%. He killed 1 he intended to kill, He wounded 1 he intended to wound and we are assuming he wanted to kill the police officer .

Statistics can be made to say what you like

He is playing out his own Rambo fantasy...... though camping in the middle of a field, drinking beer and having a camp fire is not really escape and evasion stuff.
Where is the evidence he is drinking alcohol?

I hope the police do brass him up as it will save the tax payer millions in keeping him in prison.

Oh, he also carried out an armed robbery on a chip shop....... Wooooo, he's hitting the big time!!!!

That will be the robbery that was apparently carried out by someone else. A robbery that was many many miles away from the locations he is believed to be at. He would have had to drive across densley populated tyneside to get to this insignificant chip shop

Hey, don't let facts get in the way of your rants

Its this sort of knee jerk reaction which is why we don't allow lynch mobs

Nah I think the Lexus is nice ruse. Probably dumped in Rothbury then he's doubled back whilst his associates set up some nice little campsites and fires.

At least that's what I'd do. But I'm not a complete cracker with a penchant for shooting people in the head.

EDIT: Actually by calling him a complete cracker I'm doing him a disservice as I don't believe he is unstable. Calculated and clever is more this blokes MO.

Spen666 - The TV coverage of his camp site showed a black bag full of beer cans and bottles.

As for driving though town, not to hard. Pop on a base ball cap and sun glasses.
Do you look at every single driver that goes past you?

The reward will see his friends and family turn him in. Money talks.

As for shooting to wound his ex GF.......shot through a window? Yeah right, when he is not shooting up roids he is at his local gun club practising his marksmanship?

His ex GF was bloody lucky to escape.

I've heard Fabio Capello has joined the search team. He's finally found an Englishman who can shoot straight.

Quick phone call to a certain base in Hereford, it would be over within a day. Let him deal with folk who would happily take his last breath.

That call would have been done by now

And the police sit round twiddling their thumbs waiting......untill someone points out that the regement moved down the road to Credenhill a while back.

Still, im sure the police have contacted certain people, but only have them on an advisory role for now.

Shush, it's supposed to be a secret (and also destroys the image of some hidden cave in the middle of nowehere!). I played rugby there against them a few years back - it was weird, none of them actually had black lines across their faces

I suspect they'll have a few people in holes in the area 'observing'.

they are actually based in the hidden cave.......the whole credenhill site is just an Ultimate Force set to confuse the media and wikipedia

That woman has some seriously messed up hair. God how do I miss Spitting Image!
  • Poll missed a (the?) really likely outcome: bloke shoots himself when he's finally cornered and can't get a shot at the cops. It's hardly unknown after someone's gone on a violent spree or killed other people.

It would also suit his apparent martyr complex and overdeveloped ego. This is the bloke whose grudge against the cops is 'splitting up him and his girlfriend' by sending him to prison--yeah, for assault against his girlfriend.

PS: Talking of style misfortunes, has anyone else seen the names of his kids?!

Why go to Credenhill (for all their undoubted expertise) when Rothbury / Cragside area is right next to one of the larger MOD training areas in UK aka Otterburn ranges???? and I for one am sure the police will aready have got in local experts from said organisation

Well, he's been found and cops are now negotiating with him.

They have been looking at this thread and assessing which method will be best...

Defuse the situation, defuse him. Let him get away. You'll soon find him in Seattle, working in a car wash. That way no-one gets hurt.
