    Really good!!!!???? Are you mad?

Seriously, I really enjoyed it but man that was tough. Managed 26:50 in the end but I reckon it's my strongest ride by quite a long way. Everybody was bitching about the wind apart from you!

Have to laugh about being 4 secs down on my Tuesday time too. I reckon that must be about exactly what I lost slowing for a car at the turn. Drivers face clearly showed he thought I was going to hit him.

Question. How did somebody go sub 22 tonight?

I nearly had my first catch tonight too. I absolutely buried myself in the last two miles and got within about 20 metres. I was all over the road and legs going like pistons and this guy just looked like he was cruising along from what I could see. He swears to me he wasn't. Bearing in mind he was on a straight roadie and 60+ I'm not getting too carried away with the significance of this event but it certainly gives you something to go for.

Do you know why they use orange numbers? Cause they are carrot coloured!

Also, it was nice to meet you too. We'll maybe get a ride out with some of the other local guys like Dcab and Mrpoll. Your Southport lot seem like a nice bunch. I may try and tag along on a club ride soon.

Anyhow how did you get on time wise? With age on your side you could be putting in some fast times very soon.

Tomorrow is out as I am down south getting measured for a wedding suit. Possibly be on the road sunday afternoon.

It was always going to be tough with the wind last night and I reckon it's easier for heavier bodies to keep the momentum on nights like that. I reckon I had 2-3 stone more "momentum" than you easily.

Freehub, I just thought I'd clarify the timeline, y'know, just in case like. Wouldn't want anybody getting confused now would we.

Hoping to be there for both. I've done virtually no riding since the last one though. Was on hols for two weeks and now back, I seem to be struggling to fit rides in.
