Anyone in Cheltenham?

Hi,

I've moved to Cheltenham for the month and I wondered if there were any organised rides for the weekends. I've checked on various club sites but it appears that most clubs have ended their organised rides due to the current racing schedules. I'm keen to go for long rides on the weekend but also shorter ones in the week. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

As well as the above you have the choice of the chaingang on Tuesday evening or the other CC-CC ride an hour later.
There's also you've the fast CTC 'A' ride on Thursday evening too.
  • Lots in Cheltenham as said above

All start at Pitville park near the ice cream hut on Central Cross drive.

Tuesday 19:15 - CCCC, fastish ride depending on who's there and the route, pub by 9.
Thursday 19:15 - CTC, A, B or C. The A ride can be quite a challenge in the hills. pub by 9
Saturday 09:15 - CCCC leisure or sports ride (swift), cafe at 11:00 ish
Sunday 08:30 (summer) 09:00 (winter) - CTC A, B or C rides or CCCC fast ride. Normally both have a cafe stop. can be up to 90 miles.

This pattern is week in week out all year round. CCCC also put on some Sportive rides through the summer and time trials in the evenings (thursdays).

keep an eye on http://www.cc-cc.co.uk/ as suggested above and also http://cheltenhamctc.wordpress.com/index/ for the Cheltenham CTC.
