trapped nerve

John C.John C. Posts: 2,113
I appear to have a trapped nerve in my lower back, discomfort in my lower back but pain down the back of my left leg as far down as my calf. It seams to happen when I'm working at a bench/kitchen sink or slowly walking round the shops. I'm fine when riding, general flying around or sitting in or on a chair. This months C+ gives a stretch movement to try which involves lying on your back crossing one leg over the other and pulling the othe leg in. How often do I need to do this.
Or any other exercises I can do

Many thanks
