Hills / hilly routes near Derby

Can anyone recommend any decent hills or hilly routes near Derby? I am looking to do some hill repeats.

    What sort of hill repeats - sprints or longer efforts ? Some people use Burley Hill off the A6 up to Quarndon or Hob Hill which is a right off the Wirksworth Rd up to Hazelwood.

    If you want a fairly short hilly route then the left in Duffield just before the bank up through Hazelwood and then at Shottle Gate across the staggered junction to Alport is good - mix of a longer drags and a couple of short steep ramps. Choice of routes back either via Wirksworth or the A6 - nicest descent is probably the one from the Malt Shovel to Whatstandwell but it adds a couple of miles on to the ride.
    it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

    Looking for the longer rides. Just checked out those roads on street cam, they look good.
