How to train as hard as possible in 10 days?!

I've got 10 days until a cycling holiday and due to other commitments I've only just started getting back into shape having not ridden since Easter.
What's the best way to train as hard as possible in 10 days? I will be riding 40-100 miles most days on the holiday and hopefully the hills will be my strength.
I have a turbo trainer and basically unlimited time to get out and train. Right now I am thinking: one day on, one day off, to make sure I get some rest and lots of rides in.
All opinions/advice is welcome please!

I'd do a couple of harder rides in the first 3-4 days (with a day off in between) then just rest...

I'd start about 20 days ago0

Think of it as tapering before the big event... then don't dwell on what might have been, just enjoy your holiday.0 -
It really depends on how fit you are/have been. 2/3 days of moderately intensively rides (2-3 hours) followed by a day off and then repeat are possibly what I would do. If you're up for it 2-3 short hard intervals of 3-5 mins incorporated into those rides would also help bring on your fitness (alternatively hit each hill quite hard). Be sensible as the date approaches but don't ease off too much otherwise your fitness levels will drop.0

If you train like crazy for the next 10 days you'll be to tired too ride on this holiday you're taking. Just take it easy and go on this holiday and ride when you can. It's a HOLIDAY
right??? Take it easy. It's too late to get into GREAT SHAPE so forget about that.0 -

+1, does it really matter when you are on holiday.
Or are you going with someone else who will give you a battering on the bike0 -

I think I made it sound like I am really out of shape, I'm really not too bad, I've just lost the top end fitness. I think I will take the advice of 3days hard training, couple of days rest, back to back long ish rides, then 3 days rest before leaving...sound ok?!0 -

PS don't get sloppy with your riding style because little niggly pains can creep up on you!0 -
Get yourself a good masseuse and you can ride as hard as you like each day. They can do wonders with your muscles.
Seriously though - just spend the next 10 days riding. Not hard or light. Just ride. Take a day off before you go away. And a day off after the first few days of riding.
Most of all - just enjoy yourself!0
