I'm guessing you don't live with someone if you can get away with that...or do you clean and dry your bikes after every ride??

Mine are in the (integral) garage - car has to live outside on the diveway.

In my garage. When use to live at my folks it was in the hallway so had to be washed after every ride. Now it has a garage to live in it doesn't see a sponge as often

In the garage. Can't fettle properly if they're in the house so turned the garage into a workshop. The car now lives outside  .

Road bike inside as it's nice and clean, mtb in the shed as there's no way I can be bothered to scrub it 100% clean after every ride. Shed has been outfitted with several alarms and home alone style burglar traps though!

  • Spare room ... I'm not sure insurance would cover it in the garage, as it doesn't have a particularly good lock.

If it's really mucky I clean it, if not I put it in the garage until dry, brush mud off and then sneak it upstairs when husband isn't looking (- he's not houseproud anyway).

    Outside brick shoot house.

I had to do a bit of hammer work but they both now fit, along with a old frame, 4 spare wheels, a pump, tools, workstand as such and The Boys bike.

If I was to put a car in my garage I'd struggle to get out- not the largest garage in the world!

The only people I know who put cars in garages are people with fast/flash/nickable cars. My car's actually too long to fit in the garage given the other stuff that is plumbed in down the end (like the washing machine) so the car gets used as extra security for the garage door....

used to keep it in the dining room or kitchen or small downstairs bathroom, but mum got fed up with muddy puddles and little piles of dirt so now it lives in the recently workshoped garage...
