Do rollers put more stress on your knee?

I have been out with injury now for almost a year due to a ruptured and over stretched PCL, I need to build up the muscles around the knee to stabalise it, so I bought some rollers as I thought that would be really helpful. I have done a couple of short rides(about 4 miles) but my knee swells the next day and stays sore for a few more, so i was wondering, do rollers stress the knee more than a casual ride on the flat? Maybe I should do a few gentle road miles on the seafront and leave the rollers until i am stronger, what do you think?

See a physio for specific exercises?
I dont think rollers are worse than a road but it all depends on how steady and gentle you are

They will if you fall off, and can't unclip quick enough!...
