Ah nice one. I've just been scouring all over for any info on the teams, I was looking to see if Soler was going to be in Caisse D squad.

A day in the Zeeland? Menchov and maybe Gesink lose 3 minutes on day one

What with the likes of Boom, Ten Dam and Tjallingii at their disposal? I think Menchov and Gesink should be fine.

True, Boom was very impressive in Paris-Nice at knowing when to move across a gap. That first stage on the Sunday will be super nervous and a lot to do with bike handling and making your won luck.

I don't know enough about Menchov, but Gesink should be fine. He can handle cobbles (5th in U23 Ronde van Vlaanderen IIRC) and when there are crosswinds he just has to be in a good position when the peloton splits.

Great to see Hunt finally at the TDF. He didn't hit the jackpot like David Millar when they were a year apart turning pro but you can relate him, esp if you raced with him. Good stuff

Not a huge amount of help there for Sastre. Definitely a team looking at stages and of course the green for Thor or maybe even Haussler

Nothing against Sastre, but it's not like he has many chances.

Wonder how many Brits we'll see riding le grande boucle?

    Confirmed:
    Cervelo - Hunt
    Lotto - Wegelius

    Almost certain:
    Sky - Wiggins, Thomas, Cummings
    HTC - Cavendish
    Garmin - Millar

    Maybe:
    Cervelo - Lloyd

So more than likely that is 7, maybe even 8 Brits riding. I can't remember a better year. Can anyone with a longer memory remember that many Brits riding? (When British team rode doesn't count I'm afraid)

    Tankink is replacing Ten Dam.

Shame for Rabo because Ten Dam is excellent.

Not for me though, I LOVE Tankink.
