Excellent vid, the DSLR did an awesome job of that.
How did you get the tracking shots so smooth?0 -

think its short, but you can session it all day long!
Include Cragg Quarry as well and you're already talking about three hours riding time. Spend more time sessioning stuff, couple of extra laps of Cragg Quarry and you're easily up to a days riding. Better still fit in a pub lunch at the Buck Inn in Cowpe, come down the descent on the Mary Townley Loop which is ace, lunch then climb back up on the road for more fun.
sounds like a contender for another forum meet perhaps.0 -

Me too, only 10 minutes from my front door HeeheeIt's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
I'd show aswell, since it's only about 30mins from me en voiture, and it is a great place... not been to cragg quarry yet either, and that looks decent too judging by that vid of Oxley and Sorrel there. Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. I'd be up for that too, only so no one else had to ride at the back and have their male ego crushed

I think it was the GH1?0 -
Enjoyed that, cheers. I also like the DSLR aesthetic for films and since you chose a song I like too I couldn't not enjoy the clip.0

Thanks for all the positive comments.
The camera's a Panasonic Lumix GH1 as was suggested.
To get the tracking shots there a great little product called a glidetrack, essentially a metal bar with a mounting plate that slides back and forth. The missus is a super film-maker...keep an eye out as there's more stuff coming!
As for the frame I'm undecided as to wether I have one too large, apparently they have long top tubes so I should have been fine with an 18 but it just felt too short so went for the 20 but as you point out it now looks monster. Oh well, still rides sweet so no complaints here.
Oh and thanks again, see you at Lee quarry.0 -
Where is Lee quarry?
It's not really South, is it?0 -
Cheers for the 'glidetrack'.
anyone doing it on Sunday?0
