So my better half and I dragged ourselves over to Lee Quarry and spent the day shooting some footage on her new camera using my new bike. All in all a good day. Here's the results.

Thanks for all the comments...
My better half is certainly a better film maker than I am a rider.
Lee Quarry is a great place to ride it's a very new style centre with loads of berms and jumps etc well worth a visit. There's also another similar style location just 20mins ride along the ridge called Cragg Quarry.0 -
That video was superb, great slo-mo shots as well. Good stuff!Vis Unita Fortior0

Awesome, looks like it's change a lot since I was last there. Can't wait for the quarry network to be linked up, that'll make for some epic riding.0

Congratulations, after watching this 3 times already, it's now been added to my favourites.
There are currently only 2 videos in my favourites on YouTube, yours, and the HT freeride one. So you're in good company there.0 -

You could easily make a day of it, theres lots to ride (you'll probably miss some of it on your first visit), and the stuff you do ride, you'll want to ride again.
There are also plenty of lines / runs that aren't part of the trail that are great for practicing drops and steep stuff. Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -

Include Cragg Quarry as well and you're already talking about three hours riding time. Spend more time sessioning stuff, couple of extra laps of Cragg Quarry and you're easily up to a days riding. Better still fit in a pub lunch at the Buck Inn in Cowpe, come down the descent on the Mary Townley Loop which is ace, lunch then climb back up on the road for more fun. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
Gah! I must start saving up my brownie points so I can trade them in with her indoors for a day-pass.0
