Wrong type of bike, but I was a bit lost and probably couldn't find it again if I tried. A bit like Narnia.

If it's a win despite it being the other bike, then I want to see your bike on the top of a hill.

Good enough to call it a win for me
  • Well, I was going to go for this one today. A downhilling mate and I went out to our local trail network and started riding. Within 5 minutes there was talk or rolling resistance from tyres (his 2.4's apparently that much tougher to ride on than my oversized 2.2's!) within 10 minutes we were stopping or a breath.

Long story short, we only got half way up the hill before turning around and heading down. So I (cross country rider) should be chasing him (the downhiller) right? I should be pushing myself to keep up, right? Wrong.

Anyways, I'm going to try later this week (after the cyclone hits my city at 4am local time monday morning)
What you're talking about is 'practice'... which should be banned as a performance enhancer!

    Happiness is... perfect chain tension!
  • going to try this weekend. For this following the weather thread here in CC, you'll know why I haven't gone in for it yet. What are your collective excuses?!

Loads of hills in Norfolk, they're just a bit smaller than the other ones in the country is all.
  • Seeing as it's been more than a week, I'll take the top of a hill, or your bike on the top of someone elses car.

    Rock music, or geological rock?
Because, I'm sure I could try and balance on the rear wheel on top of a Marshal guitar cab.
