Photo Challenge - Reboot

Right, time for a reboot as Nicklouse said. Rules below, taken from original thread.
Basicaly it's a game that involves photographing your bike next to an object stated by the previous winner.
One person requests a picture of something; landmark, road, building, object, anything. The first person to post up a picture of that subject wins.
But it can't just be any old picture - it must have YOUR bike in the picture, somewhere. So for example, if I was to say "lighthouse", the winner would be the first person to post a picture of a lighthouse with their bike somewhere in the picture, e.g. standing in front of the lighthouse.
That winning person then suggests another subject for the photo, and it continues, ad infinitum.
Rules:
> No photoshops! Genuine pictures only!
> The current "winner" can't submit a picture to a subject they have imposed.
> If two pictures are posted at the same time, OR a dispute arises, the person who suggested the subject decides who wins.
> Try and keep it on-topic... no deviating from the challenge etc.
> If the poster of the winning picture does not suggest a new subject within 3 days of winning, the previous winner must select a new subject.
> Fresh photos only!! No digging through your archives, get off your butts and get outside snapping.
>NEW RULE – Challenges are valid for 1 week, if not done in time the previous winner will select another challenge.
We must also understand that sometimes challenges may get duplicated, especially from the last thread. I reckon as long as fresh pics are taken and the challenge wasn’t done a week ago we should let them stand.
1st challenge – Your bike in a flower garden, if you can get it in the actual display you win a virtual cookie. Your back garden does not count for this 1.
GO!!!

Is this the new Photo Challenge thread?
If so, does this win?

Not sure if you'll be able to see that, hope you can!!0 -
If the pic was taken today that's a win.
Next challenge."I ride to eat"0 -
ooo looks like a win!
Was the other thread taking up too much bandwidth?
Whats the new one?0 -
Yep, pic taken earlier this evening after a really nice ride.
(Drum roll...)
NEXT CHALLENGE...
Your bike next to some running water (no lakes or resevoirs).
*Extra points if its a river as opposed to a stream*
Hopefully this is pretty easy; keep the thread rolling.
Enjoy!!0 -
...or you taking a leak....
maybe i should have been more specific!0 -
Taken about 30 minutes ago on my daily route.0

come on! next, im feeling fruity and fancy a win!I like bikes and stuff0
-
I would like to propose another rule.
Well, not a rule so much as a suggestion. Ok, an observation.
You took the picture, you should know if it's a win or not in most cases. So rather than waiting for approval, just go ahead, post your picture, and post the next challenge at the same time.
If there is any dispute, it can be handled later, with a cage fight to the death, or something.
All this waiting around for wins to be confirmed, then waiting some more for people to log back in and set a new challenge is boring as fook and sometimes adds days to a challenge.
Just get on with it FFS!0 -
Outside a fish and chip shop.0

The thing is I havent got an actual fish and chip shop near me, I have a chinese that sells really rubbish fish and chips or the kebab and pizza shop, that does chips but no fish0 -
I thought it'd be an easy one. I have about 4 within a 5 minute ride from me...
but as long as you can prove you can get fish and chips from the place I guess it counts...
so go in and get some fish n chips and get the meal in the pic too... (or you could be cheeky and go to a supermarket and get frozen fish and a bag of chips and put that in the pic....
but if it's a regular fish n chip shop, don't worry about the proof. Come on, someone has to have a proper one,0 -
Yeh, but if you don't have one near you, you can't get the pic. Simples.
If someone had said "bike next to a motorway" I'd not then say, "we don't have any motorways here, will a pic of my bike in my driveway do, it's still tarmac".
I do have a couple of chippies near me. But I'm not brave enough to venture out onto the roads today, with it being mad sunday and all.
It will be an easy enough one to get, but you've got to allow a couple of days.0 -
Couldn't get the whole thing in shot without stepping out into the road and getting splatted.
Next challenge, your bike outside a kebab shop."I ride to eat"0 -
-
-
Kiblams,"I ride to eat"0

Damn, I could have got both these with one pic. There's a takeaway round here which is a proper chippy, and also does keebabs, burgers and pizzas.
Oh well. Can;t upload any photos anyway, my computer's fried0 -
damn you, i rode in yesterday and passed several kebab shops, but no chippys, today i drove in so while I pass kebab shops, I do not have a bike with me to photograph0
-
Right so next is you riding your bike with a Germany flag flying  Oh and the more 'council' the area you are riding through the more brownie points0 -
I don't own a German flag... or an English one for that matter...0
-
i have a swastika flag in my stuff somewhere, maybe that would qualify?0
-

While I was going with risking the anger of hooligans (hence the challenge), I fear a swastika might anger everyone and so from H&S POV I cannot condone this0 -
Fluck that, get the swastika out, it will be a riot.............quite literally a riot!Kiblams wrote:sheepsteeth wrote:i have a swastika flag in my stuff somewhere, maybe that would qualify?
