Thanks for all the interest. The bike has now been 'sold as seen',for cash. As the buyer met me personally, to check the bike over, I'm not expecting any problems.
Thanks Aggieboy but I'va just got the bike home and I've noticed that it doesn't have the disc wheels I was expecting but it does have lots of metal discs with teeth that keep catching the chain and stop it dragging along the floor.
It fits perfectly by the way so please give me all my money back.

Could you phone my Mummy and sort this out, please?
How dishonest of you, you lying w*****.
I wanted a bike that doesn't fit me. Please come and get the wheels back right now. As you clearly can't be trusted, I will accept my money back at some indeterminate point in the future.
    Btw, you're dead meat sonny.
P.s. That isn't a threat. But I do know where you live and have paypal and ebay montoring all your transactions.

Why didn't you sell it to me??? I have compained to wiggle about you.

Although they said they were on your side as you gave them a friday filly? Silly wiggle using technical bike jargon as always!

I too was in the running for this bike and had my mum's ebay/paypal account at the ready. I was even going to travel from somewhere close to birmingham and Manchester to somewhere close to Swinton or Swindon, whichever was nearer or further.
I phoned Wiggle and complained but all they offered me were some wheels for 400 quid.

    C'mon Steelem, sort it out.

Tail end Charlie, don't trust rapid_uphill. He's taken the pink tassels off the handlebars, he's trying to pull a fast one.

If you buy it like that you should at least ask for a £400 discount!!!

I've got one you can have but it's two grand cash. It's got a unique set of wheels, that make it worth that price. Come in person and see it. I'll check with my Mum what time you can knock.

  • Two grand cash, excellent, that sounds great. Rather than cash though if you could just send me your bank details then I'll deposit the money and add an extra five thousand for your troubles.

If, for the sake of arguement, you came to check over the bike personally and went away happy with it, could those vouchers be cancelled if you later decided you'd been a complete and utter tit and but wanted to blame me for your incompetence :?:
