YES, it's the best lager there is, excellent recommendation.
England, there are many many great ales Doom bar or Tribute are certainly worth mentioning

Speights is OK. Better drops would be:
Mac's Gold (avaible at Waitrosse)
Monteiths New Zealand Lager (seriously good!)
Steinlager Pure (NOT the original Steinlager - this stuff is called Steingrenades for a reason!!)

For the US - drop the Bud and go for Sam Adams. Not quite as All Americana as Bud might be, but it's made in Boston and is a much better beer.0
