AMSTERDAM!!
Only because when your new wife tells you that "she has a headache" (and now your married that will happen a LOT!) you have an array of delightful Eastern European women who do not know what the word no means on your doorstep.I wish I was Kenny "F@#king" Powers0 -
Croatia , Cavtat to be exact . Spent a week there last summer , stunning location. Very frendily people , good seafood , not too expensive . a very laid back resort with an 'older'(30 yrs and upwards) clientel. Lots of nice bars and restaurants , plenty of clean pebble beaches with crystal clear waters. Plus its literally 5mins from the airport.
Im going back again next year even if the missus isnt!!0 -

Another one for Croatia. Went to Istria personally, stayed just outside of Labin.
It's just a beautiful country with really welcoming people. Many of them speak a little bit of English which is obviously useful. The coastline is just incredible. Also if you can find some backstreet restaurants in the fishing towns then you'll get some great fresh seafood.
Plenty of cultural stuff too in Istria. Heavy Italian influence (great coffee as expected) as it's just across from Venice. Amphitheater in Pula and the Euphrasian Basilica in Porec are really unique sights.0 -
