[serious suggestions from doing RAF/CCF tours of aircraft]

You could do 'think of a bike part' followed by a 'label the bike part with the right label' exercise... works with planes.

You could do a brucie's price is right higher/lower with pics of MTBs and Roadies... again works with planes.

Bringing in bikes might be tricky if none of them are over 5 foot... how old are scouts?

    ummmm...

is there really not an outdoor area?

Types of bikes you've mentioned, how about history of bikes, eg people used to do the TDF on fixies? Do you have a fixie? Do you have a unicycle? I do. They're hilarious.

Sorry, sorry. Can you show videos?

Good call LiT, although with the Danny MacAskill one you'd need to stress the "Please don't try this at home" part - unless you find the video of the guy jumping off the 15ft high arch and crumpling his rear wheel (I don't have the link at present, may dig out later.......)

Do the scouts still enjoy a good sing song? How about something from MC SpandX?

Nope, I got kicked out of DofE for narcotics offences and spent the rest of my wednesday afternoons in the pub.

I give/gave the aircraft tours, rather than listening.
