I amazed he is going to ride the tour in any capacity

I think the capacity he'll ride to will be about 5.2 litres ;)

Let's make it interesting come July. I'll bet you 20 USD vs the equivalent in 10 bob notes
that SOMEONE from Shack is on the GC podium when the fat lady finally sings. Is the Shilling still part of the currency over there????

Wish I could cover whomever wanted some but that might be illegal and there is no way I have that kind of money. Just monty and myself, if he accepts. Just for laughs AND a few dollars.

It will be facinating to see how JB's court case to recover his wages is going to work out, considering he totally screwed the team over, broke contracts and had already been sacked by Vino. Whilst planning his new team long before the 2009 TdF! :?

He won't get a tenge out of them.

The real test is that if Contador misses the splits, which is what Pharmstrong and Co hope.

. attack attack.. then the likes of indurain attacking into Liege with JB swinging out of this rear mech trying to hang on.... great racing...anything that promotes this, be it cobbles, or the bianca strade like we had in the Giro, is only a good thing.

    ..

With AC and Vino its usually a product that comes in bags that promotes that kind of riding.
Gasping - but somehow still alive !

Contador and Vino are mates from back in their Liberty Seguros days aren't they?

Pretty sure Contador offered his services to Vino then.

Or the other way around if you get my drift..............

If there was real justice in cycling, there would be no Spanish riders taking part until Puerto was cleared up. Vino wouldn't be riding because of his unwillingness to come clean about his pharmaceutical past! This whole thread would then be redundant.
I will now stand back having lit the blue touchpaper!

The interesting thing about what Bruyneel says is it mirrors what Contador says in the Procycling interview. Astana is also a happier place now.

Also, the Radioshack deal was originally presented as a 4 year deal but I see it's a 2 year deal with a 2 year extension possible. Lance is the big draw for them and when I wandered past a Radioshack a couple of weeks ago they had a lot of advertising featuring the team.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

OK Dennis - money's on the table - loser has to make a $20 donation to the other's nominated good cause come the end of July. Anybody want to set-up an escrow account for the readies?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

OK. Game on. I anxiously await my winnings. Easiest 20 bucks I ever made. Actually,
I'm trying to raise money for an MS ride I'm doing in late June. If I ever get off my fat *ss
and put in some decent mileage.

When the shack is a distant memory -- someday Contador will ride again for the Hog.

Bit unlikely isn't it? Especially since the Hog will go when Armstrong goes and I don't see Contador wanting to retire in 2012

Genuine question. You are happy to potentailly libel AC, yet you throw a hissy fit at similar reference to LA. Do you not see the discrepancy in this?

The Hog didn't go last time the cowboy retired.

It will take awhile, but the fact that Contador even talks to JB is a sad sign.

Remember, the Hog likes his press clippings as much as Armstrong.

When Armstrong crashes out on the cobbles this July and Radioshack goes bankrupt, the JB-Contador love affair will continue...

I think Armstrong's gonna do better on the cobbles than Contador. He's had more experience racing on them. Might be another split like La Grande Motte stage last year
