    It hadn't been top-surfaced, had 'raised ironworks' and 'ramp', so meant you just needed to avoid the grids.

    However, it's probably now been finished I'd think, as there was a sign up saying there would be 'long delays' on the Monday morning (last Monday 6th Sept) and you should 'seek an alternative route', which made me chuckle
    - what alternative route is there up the Goyt ? :lol:

    It was only the very top 100yds anyway, just short of Derbyshire Bridge, where there's the hillside on the left and the drop into the stream on the right.
