prepatellar bursitis

Has anyone had this?
Running has caused it as i cycle and run... If i cut out the running and just cycle what would the probable outcome be?
Any help MUCH appreciated.

Haven't had it in my knee so have absolutely no advice, but after having it in my shoulder I can offer a lot of sympathy. It really really hurt! A stack of anti-inflammatory drugs and about 10 sports massage/ultra sound sessions sorted me out (enough to row at least) in a week. Never want to go back to it again though!
