Coaching Plans

After reading Alex latest blog I saw the link to the training plan they are offering here

For £100 you get a 3 month training plan tailored for you and the event you want to do.

is this a good value program, I haven't seen anything similar in the UK?

I couldn't spend money on a full time coaching program but this may be a good compromise.

We think so. Given the number of riders coming back for their 2nd and 3rd plans, they seem to think so as well.

The plans are individually tailored based on your riding history, goals, current fitness levels, training time available each day, type of target events/riding, and we factor into the planning up to two key events along the way. They can be based on using heart rate or a power meter to help guide intensity of effort.

You also get access to our coached riders forum for ongoing contact with RST coaches, and other coached riders. For Q&A, tips, info and sharing experiences of training and racing.

I originally developed them as a result of many requests for such a service from people on forums such as this.

While I'm obviously happy to plug our plans, I will also say that many riders would benefit from sticking with any reasonably decent plan, be it an RST plan or from another good coach.

Dan Bennett seems a good bet..progressive and very open to off-bike core and strength work, which most top riders will tell you is beneficial.
