I thought I'd celebrate having just done my last downhill race of the year, by immediately buying a coil shock for the bike I raced it on, and then straight after that a downhill bike. I am a god of timing.

If you're a nerd about your data, Sporttracks easily, and I mean EASILY trumps Garmin Connect, all data stays on your laptop/PC too, so it's always available. Unlike Garmin Connect.

Nah, I only did 2... Last one was the Hope 6-hour Endurance DH at Fort William. The blisters on my hands have almost healed now  I'm not much of a racer really but I love that sort of nonsense.

my new ergon grips have just come for the commuter bike, can't wait to fit them at lunch and try them out. They have bar ends as well, how very 90s!

Alexrims FR30 Wheelset from Superstar with 15mm adaptor for the front hub & 10mm adaptor for the rear - special offer @ £165:
    Alexrimsfr30-1.jpg
Rear 10mm QR in blue for the above:
    10mm-QR-1.jpg

Now let's hope that Winstanleysbikes can find me a set of Rockshox Sektor RL Coil U-turns with 15mm Maxle Lite, they now seem to be as rare as rocking-horse sh!t... That rare that the set that were in stock (and which I paid a £50 deposit on) on Saturday morning couldn't be found in their warehouse at lunchtime by the time I'd driven 30 miles to sunny Wigan :x

Thanks but I think need the U-turn as my Trance has currently only got 120mm forks - I'm pretty sure 140mm will be OK (from users on this forum and also on Southerndownhill) but I'm not sure about 150mm. The 150mm is to "future-proof" me for whatever my next bike might be. Another reason for the U-turn is to wind them down to 110mm for climbs (which I hate :x )

Just checked my e-mail and Winstanleys have just found the forks and are holding them for me - so they'll be in the post to me tomorrow :D

I think I just might! My last DX order never arrived though, which sucks. Luckily it was only a few quid so I wasn't bothered. Might have to look at this though. I might buy one before Fabian buys the lot for his 'bike'. :)

A boardman team fs. Got £1000 to spend on bike to work scheme. Had a look at this and a camber comp. The spesh looked a bit cheap compared to boardman. So collect saturday. Just need to sort some superstar nano pedals and some heli tape. Gotta covince wife I need to keep my crush as well. She wants me to ebay it which would pay for a dropper post and wheels I suppose.

What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?
