    I changed my mind at the last minute from 661 401's to Royal Air gloves as I was put off by the build quality of 661 gloves and all the reviews for the Air's are top notch. I know peter's a big fan of them too.

    typical, they're out of stock so my money has been refunded. I'll have to see what else is available.

    getonyourbike - Problem with gloves is the fit. I personally found that Sombrio make the best fitting gloves for me, with 661 coming a close second but the quality of the Rajis I owned (for about a week before they fell apart) has put me right off.

    I'm having to go with gloves that have the largest percentage for fitting most people well and now Troy Lee Design XC gloves look like they are just that. They also seem to last well according to the reviews. But I can't find a sizing guide for their gloves.

    To go with new SRAM PG980 34t cassette and KMC X9L silver chain I've been hoarding. The old chainset still has some life in it so I might keep that going until the end of the winter grit and grime before swapping over. Need to have the BB shell faced first anyway.
    My abundant supply of MTFU is reserved for use in dry, sunny conditions.

    good choice, i've had mine on for abuot 8 months now and have never looked back :D
