Nah, Fox full facers and Giro don't fit me, the problem with the 661s was just I'd not been able to find any to try on that I liked but I had a loan of a Comp 2 in France and it was spot on.

    I offered my Evo

And they're only 42 quid on crc

Rockshox SID Damper Assembly. Found a place in Belgium (www.forksparts.com) that'll ship it to me cheaper than I can get hold of it in the UK.

You did, didn't you, forgot about that  CRC only have outsizes, large and up. I'm just going to take a bit of a stab in the dark and order a Strike, hopefully the fitting's comparable, if not I'm just out the price of postage to return it anyway.

  • Ordered one of these in the wee hours of the morning with accessories. For the price the picture quality won't be that great but it'll do

Good Choice bought mine for £12 delivered off eBay a while back, great little gadget and dirt cheap. That's not a bad price from Amazon at all considering the included SD card. :D

  • Been a busy little bee this week... first up this (off of supertwisted) on here, he bought the bike as a doner bike and luckily enough sold the brand new/unused frame to me :)

    66909074.jpg

I have ridden one of these before (a lower model with a different/shit shock) and I loved it so much I always thought about getting one - these are so fun to ride - ask Chris Akrigg ;)

As the above frame runs at 140mm - I couldnt use the Lyriks - and TBH fancied a change - so Northwind had them off me and I bought these (and yes I know of the horror stories - but when they do work they are awesome - and thats what a warranty is for) :)

    30250.jpg

Then I realised that my existing bars didnt go with new planned build - so I also ordered these (the black and white ones to compliment the frame):

    52471.jpg

and some of these (thanks to Da Mighty Chicken) as they will also fit the build well (in white and red):

    51469.jpg

and finally one of these topcaps in red:

Oh and x2 metres of white goodridge carbon hose and some white spacers for the steerer... see what I'm doing here???

    :D
  • Bet I'm gonna regret selling that frame to you once I see it built up.
Less internal organs, same supertwisted great taste.

That's ok, he'll keep it for a couple of months without ever riding it, then decide he's too busy to ride it properly and sell it on at greatly reduced price.

    As usual

  • Do me a favour, next build, will you order some of the new top-of-the-range revs, I fancy a bargain on an unused set of those. Don't cut the steerer too short though.

    cheers.
  • Fark off you!!
  • Just bought some fibrax gear cable inners, green eco chain lube, a front clarks skeletal and some wellgo b54.
  • Also (due to new frame) just ordered an SLX front mech (top swing) for doubles only.

    Nearly there :)

Woo! I can buy it back once the mmmBop has shattered all my vertebrae.

I came home to find 2 CRC boxes today. Odd I thought, only ordered a chain, brake outer and headset.

Turns out some chap in my village also ordered some bits from CRC. Lazy basts at Parcelforce just dropped both boxes off at mine.
