Rockshox Rev Team Air Uturn :D

Nicely done. IMO U-turn is one of the best inventions ever to grace longer travel machines. I'd seriously not be without mine now.

u turn sucks ass in comparion to something like the bionicon version of travel adjust

i have just ordered an 8 prong bb tool, a superstar isis bottom bracket and now i need some new tyres.

Should have probably specified travel adjust in general, rather than specifically u-turn.

    Aaaaanyway.

No, is it worth paying the extra £35 and buying the remote kit then?

The current CRC sale looks like it was done just for me. 44% off the frame, 52% off the headset and 63% off the joplin. Saved me £306.97 :D

the post is genuinely pointless without the remote kit. you will still have to slow to adjust the post and take your hand off the bars whilst riding which means you wont want to do it during the radcore bits of the trail.

the entire point of the post is to have the remote so you can sdjust the saddle all the time and at the drop of a hat. blieve me the 30 quid is so worth it it will make your headspin.

    Also just ordered:

    Joplin remote kit :P

now you are making sense, you will not regret that particular piece of common sense. fitting is easy too, the kit comes supplied with the drift you need to drive a roll pin out so all you need is a small torx key and a hammer.

    Joplin remote kit :P

Best ever (and only) upgrade to the Joplin by far! Once I'd fitted mine I sort wondered how I got along without it. Also, it's a nicely made piece of kit too, like most things Crank Bros.

A dropper post without a remote is just good enough to make you realise how great it'd be with a remote, without actually being much good at all

That was exactly my thinking too. And according to those in the know, you NEED the remote kit or it's useless.
