Possibly the gayest thing I have ever bought in the history of ever, but what with moving house I have 3 choices, 1 - ride in to work (12 miles) usually at 4am ish/ ride back on lates but have nowhere really secure to lock a decent bike/no shower facilities/no locker for uniform. 2 - drive to work, pay 30 quid a month to park or 3 drive most of the way to work and park at the engine sheds for free and ride the last mile.
I chose option 3, for which I needed a bike that fits in my saloon car. This has meant ordering the latest member of the stable, Flexo

I know, if there was a less gay way around it I would but simple single fold, singlespeed folding bikes come in 2 flavours, gay or gayer0 -
Nice. Personally, I'd have bought a BMX...It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Student loan arrived.
1) New reverb lever kit as I broke mine when I almost crashed myself to death.
2) New 661 Recon, see above.
3) New endura 3/4 bibs, see above.
4) XT Cassette 11-34 tooth, because 11-32 and a 36 tooth chainring isn't the nicest given some of the riding I've got planned.
5) Hope 34T chainring, see 4.
6) KMC 9 speed chain of some description for the roadie.
7) Castelli bib shorts and jersey because I fancied some nice roadie clothing, if I'm going to ride a gay bike I may as well look good whilst doing it0 -
B*llocks, yeah I have, it arrived today
In other news, mongs of the month award goes to JE James... I ordered a Reverb remote kit... they've sent me a pushloc kit?!? But it has a reverb remote label and price tag on the front of the box, despite the fact it clearly says pushloc on the back? Having looked inside it's definitely a pushloc kit too. FFS. Morons.
Or at least I'm fairly sure I'm right, given I'm holding a remote shaped wrongly, that is definitely cable and not hydraulic :roll:0 -
I had to applaud je james; ghey bike arrived today quick time and with a free mug and t shirt0
