Salt... everywhere

Warm ride today and I was absolutely covered in salt stains after 4 hard hours. Black jersey looked like it had a white print on the back and I suffered horribly towards the end. Last summer I bought some isotonic drink that tastes like sea water so will start using that again to try and replace electrolytes.
Anything else I can do? Can't be good sweating out ounces of salt and it looks nasty. Could ask my GP but I'd be surprised if they could suggest anything based on past performance.

You can't do anything about nature. All you can do is replace what is being lost and the energy drinks with electrolytes will do that however be careful when using them as some having lower concentrations of sugar than normal energy drinks so may need to supplement with a more concentrated energy drink or with solid food.0 -
Damn, cheers. Noticed that those powerbar gels you can get in tesco have 0.5g sodium along with the carbs so going to try chugging a few of those along with the electrolyte drink. Can always wear lighter jerseys to hide the salt stains.
Quite funny scouring the supermarket post-ride for snacks loaded with salt. Not so easy now everything seems have reduced fat and salt!0 -
Or just wear a breathable undervest like they sell at prendas.I find they keep my cooler than when I'm just wearing a jersey alone.0
