Lee Quarry / Pennine Bridleway / Crag Quarry Linking Route

Was up there as well this morning. Its a fair old treck up that bloody hill!

I dont think we saw all there was to see up there either. Definitely some bum clenching moments on some of those drops!

It's getting better each time I go, starting to bed in a bit more and I managed to find muway round what seems to be the full trail. Saw quite a few people up there today, all local to the area (different sides of the hill), quite a bit of local knowledge for the quickest route back down to Edenfield. Might try riding up to cragg then lee then back home next wk. Really happy we have something this good on our doorstep. Thanks to all the hard work from everyone involved.

first off a big thank you to stumpyjon for his directions and map,,
went early sunday morn jon you right about that climb it's a killer, eventually found the trail,, it's ok has some good flowy bits and some teccy bits,,, i think lee quarry is better but it's still early day for crag quarry yet,, shot a quick video up @ crag some camcorder footage and some helmet cam footage it would be good to link the 2 togeather, to put some miles in... was quite windy up there on sunday, made the going a little tough but still enjoyed it..

Bumping this as I heard they may be dropping the stones for the lining route this week. Not sure when it will be done though.
