Finished my first plan - now what

I will be finishing my first training plan on Sunday when I complete my first four hour ride with a planned distance of between 60 - 65 miles. I've stuck to a plan that has involved 2x1 hour intervals during the week with increased distance rides on both Sat and Sun each week. My goals for this year are:
1) Complete an end of season 100 mile in a 'reasonable' time
2) Increase my average speed on the rides to above 20mph
Now for the questions:
1) Do I need to up my ride frequency to achieve the goals?
2) Do I need to start riding with others to achieve my target pace?
3) What sort of plan should I be looking at to achieve the goals?
Thanks in advance

You might have this already, but this might help with increasing your overall distance towards the first century.

You'll find a similar programme within "The Time Crunched Cyclist" by Chris Carmichael...

To get to 20mph on your own would imo be a tall order without working in a group. As you'll be aware from other topics around here, progress from 15 to 20 mph is going to take a big effort. Nothing wrong with trying to increase your average speed for a longer ride though ( I'm trying to do the very same thing!). Good luck.0
