im not too fussed normally, i will shop at which ever one but probably prefer asda to tesco as its cheaper, but have no problem with shopping at tesco as they are convenient.

i shopped at booths this week and it was outstanding. if there was one here i would shop in it exclusively, im not sure if it would work down here though unless they bring the produce from up north.

I'd welcome more stuff from oop north down here tbh - I used to go to Borough market quite a lot cos there was a butchers in there that used to come down from t'oop north every weekend with black pudding and proper bacon with white bits - and more. I used to buy up whatever they'd marked down.

Keep meaning to go back there - but I live 12 miles away from Borough Market now.

i dont know if it was a placebo type affair but everything tasted better up north, i wouldnt be suprised if it all came from the same farms as down here and transported but it really seemed better.

My old woodwork teacher, Mr Hobbs, used to touch my arse regularly. He was from up north.

Well I'm from Devon but I've always thought you could get better food up north. I started shopping in Borough Market about 7/8 years ago and it was a revelation. It was like food was back in the 70s - but even better.
