Feeling the pressure...

Wonder if anyone has similar symptoms to what I've been having since upping the milage from the winter? I'm relativley new to road riding, but have been MTB'ing for a good couple of years. Since I got the road bike in the summer I seem to suffer from a constant feeling of pressure around my bladder, complete with the need to p more often than ever before. I have seen my GP a few times about this, and had a scan. All test and scans were negative. My GP has told me that alot of cyclists suffer from similar symptoms.
Could it be pressure from my saddle? Would a saddle with a cut-out be of benefit?

Thanks in advance,

Bulkydaddy

Not had exactly the same but did have some numbness early on
Went through 4 saddles before settling on a Specialized Toupe(they do have a cut out) and also adjusted very slightly the angle of the saddle. That sorted out the problem and can ride all day now with no issues (well apart from getting tired!)
The position and type of saddle seems far more critical than on a MTB where you vary your body position a lot more

I think correct sizing may be more important than saddle choice. Could it be that the frame is too long for you?
