Hi guys,
I live in magor so close too. Was riding through shirenewton tonight as it happened, recovering from wentwood!
Do we have anywhere to post and discuss a ride? I can normally get out for 20/30 miles on a weekend but only at 13/14 mph average! I've just started using the strava website to map rides an add friends, could we use that?
Cheers0 -
Hi,
I am just getting back into road riding to compliment my mountain biking and I also currently ride an MTB with slicks. I live in St Arvans (4-5 miles form Chepstow). I would be interested in meeting some fellow riders in the area. Not sure how long a ride I would be fit enough for at this point but willing to ride with others and get the fitness up!
14 years ago I used to time trial with an Oxford club, and would like to work towards that...
Definately would like to be part of any gathering in Chepstow!!0 -
Just added a new club to Starva, 'Chepstow Cycling Club' (inspried I know). Im new to strava but lets see what that can do for those interested in getting together?!0

some of the others started a club up called monmouthshire wheelers which is more of a social club in its early days. I haven't been on any rides with them yet as i've been racing and riding with my current club but I keep an eye out and seen they've done a couple rides and some social gatherings off the bike. they started a Facebook group if you wanted to get involvedCrafted in Italy apparantly0

Re: I am a regular cyclist located in Chepstow. I ride alone and with a small group of friends. We are considering reviving the once active Chepstow Bicycle Club. It would initially focus on leisure/club rides but hopefully expanding to competition riding in time. Would any of you forum readers be interested in this venture?0
