Tacx Velodrome Software - Is it me or is it not very good?

I bought the Velodrome software for my i-Magic, and as the title suggests, I really don't think much of it.
Here's why:
I though there'd be points races or the like so I can do some more varied interval training, however, there only seems to be distance races which are, frankly tedious (and not really any different to the velodrome VR software that originally came with the i-Magic - just a little prettier).
There's no updates for it on the Tacx site, and nothing on their forum (or indeed here as far as I can see) but I can't help feeling that I've missed something. The list price for this software is 70-odd quid and I really can't see what you get for that (not that I paid full price for it).
Has anyone got the software and can let me know if indeed there is more to it?
Oh, and I don't want to just buy TT2 as I don't have a good enough computer

I've got the Velodrome software, but no longer use any of the virtual world stuff.
Much prefer the higher resolution RLVs and ergovids.0
