When funds allow I'm sure I'll end up getting a few bits but need to wait for bank balance to recover for a while first so I'm just riding it

Quite fancying an XTR or Noir crankset and some X0 shifters (redwin to match the rear mech) that kind of thing, then I'll see what comes next

  • Nice looking bike, i've got the 2010 Stumpy expert, couldn't trust my self with carbon on the rocks in the peak disrtict, one thing i'd do is while it's new, change out the red nipples for DT brass ones as the snap very easy, only add a little weight but they'l stay straight and tight, binned mine eventualy for Hope Pro 2s and mavic's

Enjoy it, looks like your getting straight into it.

Having buckled my front wheel recently in a fall, I started looking for a replacement but decided to treat myself to a new set...

    Hope Pro 2 hubs
    Stans ZTR Flow rims
    DT Revolution spokes

Also got myself an SRAM PG990 Redwin cassette whilst I was there

 Yeah I just noticed that reading what I'd written back to myself.

    Doh !

Tried getting my Rubber Queens on the rims yesterday, nearly broke my fingers trying...Gave up in the end and put some Verticals on for now instead
