Anyone who puts 'stickers' reflective or not on lycra, looks good on the peg, but after one wash starts coming off...FFS..... Altura are bad for this.......

Most ti framesets....... for sure its a fine material but my big brand name sort of (say it quietly) failed/tear on the downtubes*2 and after research what a suprise thats why in the late 60`s 70`s it was no longer used for off road motorbike frames as it strangely failed on welds etc.... so some of those big name ti rigs are imo vastly overpriced.

Fizik saddles. Horrendously priced and I've never found one that was comfortable for more than an hour.

Can you count saddles as being overrated though? All are ars*s are different.

eah, maybe. I should have just said overpriced
You were right first time fizik are sh*t,and very expensive. At least with selle italia you get a saddle you can use, even though it's very expensive.

The Fizik Arione is the only saddle I can use all day and completely forget about. Selle Italia are as expensive and are uncomfortable for me. As has been said, saddles are an individual choice. Interestingly though, most people I know seem to ride Ariones.

I couldn`t disagree more about specialized, particularly the shoes. All their stuff is well thought out and reasonably priced.

CatEye - I don't care how good the lights are if the crappy plastic mounts break and the thing smashes on the tarmac.

Don't think much of either of my Spesh mini-pumps I've bought but have found their clothing and footwear to be very good and their BG gloves to be superb.

Assos shorts are waaay overpriced and not comfy for me.

Specialized shoes are great for me - i prefer them to Sidi and they dont put cyclists into crappy adverts.

    My Fizik arione is great.

Everyones perspectives are different though - just check the reviews of your favourite restaurant - clearly people are stupid ! ;-)

    Endura - agreed.

Pedals - 105 prdals are mor eor less the same as Dura Ace. More than most components, you just can't tell the difference.

Expensive carbon bottle cages - why?
