The forecast for northern ireland is dry and sunny with wind speeds between 3mph - 8mph ..........................ABOUT BLOOMING TIME TOO !!!!!

Hopefully spring is waiting around the corner for us all to enjoy our cycling to the full.

Don't believe the weather yet, it could end up being crap.

It's lovely at the moment, not a cloud in sight, shame it's a R&R day which means 30mins on the turbo, I have to use the turbo, as if I go on the road, I'll end up going too hard.

I sorta think of the turbo along the lines of "ive gotta do this wall papering for the wife ". Both turbo and wall papering do not fill me with a pinch of salt of enthusiasm.

Went out Saturday and Sunday just gone and down Sarth it was super blowly, felt like cycling uphill through treacle.

Roll on the windless warm summer days. :(

Awesome session in the peaks today! Beat my personal best time up my favourite hill and had a TON left in the tank at the top. Weigh a TON more too, which shows my power is going up up up!

14 degrees, tailwinds everywhere, a nice clean bike with new parts and faster tyres, quiet lanes and the smell of fresh cow turds (none on the road though)... Not a single red light too... Perfect!

Weather's great here today, and it's looking good in Angus / Perthshire for tomorrow's Scone the Flat Way 100km. Just sorting my bike and kit out ATM. Yipeeee!!!

Riding to work every day this week, 22 miles each way. Bright but cold this morning, sunny & warm on way home...perfect.

Got back from a sunny week in Mallorca with the club. 700 miles in the legs over 8 days....this bit o' sunshine is just what I need!
