I'm waiting for the range branded Olives and other preserved Mediterrainian stuff to hit the shelves.

'McCann Tapas - One you won't want to leave alone all night'

If they'd been working class the Sun and Daily Mail would have called for their heads. Instead they're 'upstanding members of society' so it's ok to leave your kids alone all night while you throw the keys in a bowl with your mates.

Yes the muppet is still playing hide the sausage with Christine.

One thing worries me about her though, who on earth wears a bra under a swimming costume?

I am with you on this. I truly believe the McCanns gave the child some form of sedative that Madeline reacted too, badly.

I hope i am wrong, but see in time if this comes out that the parents killed the child accidently and tried to make out madeline was kidnapped. then i fear their fate will be far worse than that of the James Bulger killers.

This story stinks to high doe and it is sad that a small child has quite possibly lost her life due to her parents inability to look after her.

Maybe i am being strong about my comments, but it is how i feel about the McCanns now!

Have you noticed that parents that plea to the camera end up being found guilty of the crime ...

IMO tin foil hat , conspiracy theory

One of the parents gave the kids sleeping tablets which the eldest took a reaction to and died during her sleep which the parents found and removed the body before the other kids had woken up and drove umpteen miles afterall the car they had was a hire car drove a buried the body far from resort possibly in the hills .. and after the daughter was reported missing the following day the father still went for his tennis lesson ..

And I heard a there is a who dunnit weekend at the resort ..

I have always maintained (and still do) that the parents are guilty Maddie's death. Look at the mother's eyes, especially in the early interviews, she wouldn't look the interveiwer or camera straight in the eye. She has obviously been coached/trained to now do this.

I also think there's something going on between Mrs McCann and Robert Murat, who again, I believe helped the McCann's dispose of the body.

It would also be interesting to find out, just how much money the McCann's have 'made' out if Maddie's disappearance?

Yeah it did. Their reasoning was that they both had to quit their jobs to go on the hunt for their kid, which left them with no personal income to pay their bills. So, by paying their mortgage they could carry on with the search. That was their justification, not mine!

I understand the McCanns have said that they spent in excess of £1 million in their search for Maddie.... I assume that includes the tenner they decided not to spend on a babysitter!

you're right but there is a big difference between leaving your kids in a pool full of people, maybe in an orgnised group and leaving them in an apartment with no baby sitter whilst you go and enjoy yourself.

i have no kids so its easy for me to gob off i spose but i know one thing for absi=olute certain, there would b no way id leave my kids in a situation where they were likely to be abducted, more than that though, any number of things could happen to a child left alone in a home

when i have a kid of my own am i suddenly going to forget that its a horrible world out there? i doubt it, i would never put a child of mine in harms way or allow it to be in a situation where it could be abducted.

im under no illusion parents need time away from their kids but there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. if i needed an evening away with my wife and didnt want to take the kids with me, id get a baby sitter. if i went on a holiday with my kids id treat them as part of the family and not take oppotunities to leave them alone.

as far as im concerned as soon as my wife and i choose to have a child i will give up the next i8 ish years to dedicate myself to it.

isnt that what all good parents do?

I think most parents will tell you that's impossible, unless you keep it chained to the bed. I don't have or want kids but I've seen how easy it is for one to run off, literally turn your back for seconds. Not that this is what the McCanns did, of course, not defending them but the idea that you can be constantly on the lookout is I think just unrealistic.

im not suggesting kids have to be in your eyeline 24/7 but the point is there are some situations in which your kids are more at risk, i would avoid these situations and end up with all of my kids when i get back on a flight from some shithole in europe.
  • On a lighter note, I preferred Myleene when she was first in Hearsay as she was a good healthy sized girl. Surely she's too skinny now? The same could be said for Cheryl Cole/ Tweedy as well.

    You got kids then?

I have, I've got 2, and I can categorically tell you right now that they never have and never will be left in a situation where they could be abducted.

Leaving your kid alone anywhere while you go off and have a good time is a monumentally stupid idea, this is especially true when on holiday and are in unfamiliar surroundings.

If you want to go out and have a good time, don't have kids, simple as that.

Now wind your neck in and stop being such a tw@t!

's ok it'll help them learn to fend for themselves should you ever take them on holiday and decide to leave them in your apartment while you go and have a good time.

It's okay, this new guy moved in next door a few weeks back. He's offered to go get them for me. Said something about them joining his gang. Must run a youth club or something.

    !

Where are they right now? In bed? Someone watching them?

<edit- that sounds creepy as **** doesn't it! Not supposed to!>

Fair enough if you're saying you'll never leave them in a place where they're at higher risk but if you're really saying you think it would be impossible for your kids to be abducted at any time... No. The reality is you can't make them completely safe, all you can do is take all the steps you can and that will most likely be enough.

youre missing the point northwind, your kids asleep in the house in which you live and in which you are present is about as safe as they can be.

again, you dont need to have your kids in your eyeline every secnd of every day for them to be safe. the point is, if you leave them in a house on their own, they are at risk. if you leave them unattended on holidy whilst you get lagered up like a fucking scumbag, then dont expect them to be on the flight home with you.

its simple to mitigate the effects of your kids being stolen by using simple techniques such as:

-employing a babysitter for your nights out.
-leaving your bird to keep an eye on the kids whilst you go to the bar
-only leaving your kids in an organised club or under adult supervision of some sort if you feel the need to be without them on your family holiday.
-teach your kids to make a racket if they are being abducted.

    its not fucking hard.
