Turbo Tyres

Hi everyone,

Quick question - Is there a good reason to buy a training tyre ? I've got an old Gatorskin that I was thinking of using on my training wheel. Just wondering if it would be ok...

    no - there is no good reason to buy a turo tyre, Just use an older one that you have had on the road.

    I agree, although if you are indoors you are likely to get little bits of black rubber coming off, the TT tyres don't wear in that fashion, they also stay in shape better, road tyres flatten off.

    Pretty sure they're quieter as well, if that's an issue. Not by much, but every little helps...
