Just been out on bike trying to recover from a lot of drinking while watching the Old Firm game yesterday and wondered how many folk watch it else where in the world.
Anyone watch it before the Carling Cup game yesterday?

Of course not, a proper team was playing :P0

Some people in Ross-shire watched both games. Us being so far north, and the time it takes for elctronic data transfer to get to us, we were able to watch both games - one after the other, unlike Stewie.
I was out on my bike though.

Yes, but after the 93rd minute wished I hadn't.......0

The gym have Sky and I was short of time yesterday so went there instead of out on bike.
I have supported Celtic man and boy so have a partisan view of what took place.
More helpfully, putting my objective head on. Celtic got largely what their quality of play (esp 2nd half) deserved, ie nothing. The quality of football from both sides was shockingly poor in comparison to what takes place on Englsih pitches (not just Premiership) and I am fearful that Scotland's game is headng for the standard of Wales and Ireland.
And Premiership mangers who can manage and strikers who can score goals will still be plying their trade in England so imports like Mowbray, Samaras and even Keane are only there because they're not good enough.

We've been really poor this season & obviously the league table reflects this. The rumour mill has Paul Lambert signed & sealed as manager for next season.0

In a fit of post OF depression, I'd be prepared to sign Paul as a player never mind a manager.
Anyway, let's not get started on an OT rant. Except to order a taxi for TM.

I'm a boro fan and I thought Mowbray would struggle in his first year as he was bound to replace Strachan's battlers (little did I know I'd end up watching most of them) with a 'more cultured' type of footballer and he wouldn't be able to attract good enough ones to guarantee the wins by playing football and he wouldn't want/be able to descend to the Walter Smith's level and bully his way to victories against the smaller teams.
I thought Keane may be the catalyst for a title charge this year but it doesn't seem to have come off.
I'd still give him another season though, you can't make all the changes he has to personal and expect miracles; then get rid of him, get a new manager in, let him make changes to the players and then expect instant success.0 -
I'm as desperate as the next man for TM to be a success, loved the man when he played for us & had huge respect when hiis time with Celtic ended amongst such personal sadness. However I must admit I lost a little faith when he sold Barry Robson down your way. Sadly nobody gets second season's against Rangers.....0

Keane will serve you well and get you goals if you have the right players around him but he isnt going to get you 25+ goals in a season. Has he been doing his silly roly poly celebration and getting himself injured? You lot WILL be held responsible :x .0 -
I hate football, all of it, if there was never another game played I'd be ecstatic. I grew up in Ayrshire where if you were a Rangers fan you'd get a kicking from Celtic fans and vice versa. What's to like about a sport that creates that environment to live in??0

I was watching Everton outplay the lucky lillywhites.
Proper football.Smarter than the average bear.0 -
I've just taken out a season ticket for partick Thistle for £25 and apparently that allows me to all their european games.
And they have an all seater stadium for the fans.I saw the delivery of a chaise longue fron DFS going in to Firhill just the other day..
I once got caught by a big Glasgow Polisman climbing over the wall at Firhill and he ordered me back in 'til the game was over.
You can see i take the glorious game seriously eh ?

 Did your medication make you miss the first half or are you going off MOTDs highlights? I saw the whole match and Everton were lucky to not have their rear ends handed to them on a plate. We should have been over the hill and far away at half time. Took our foot off their throats in the usual Spurs fashion and let them back in, just like at Goodison earlier in the season, 2 0 half time away from home cruising and playing some lovely football against the supposed "School of Science" .0 -
No, I saw the whole match too. Everton were far more dominant in the second half than Spurs in the first and Spurs first goal came from a mishit shot.Granted, the second goal was quite good although Howard pulled his hands down for some reason instead of saving it. Apart from that they only had a couple of chances. If Jagielka had played from the start the result would have been different, probably. With the midfield Moyes played in the first half any opposition would have flourished.Smarter than the average bear.0

Rangers & Celtic,
Two cheeks of the same arse0 -
As a Spurs fan I admit I have realised over the Years that remembering the bad bits is depressing. So I ignore them and only remember the good bits, I did the same after a round of golf. I recall the lovely chip from off the back of the green that ended up 10 inches from the hole. I didnt ever remember that it was the previous chip that put the ball over the back of the green in the first place .
Modric's goal was better than quite good though Antfly 8) .0 -
Wow. a lot of flak for the Rangers and Celtic support. I'm a Rangers fan (although I havent been to Ibrox for about 5 years), my best mate is a Celtic fan and a know a lot of other supporters on both sides who are decent blokes. Like any group of people it's the few knobheads who give it a bad name.
Did.nt watch the game (I usually do go to the pub to watch them with my mate) as i was out on me bike. Did catch the goal on me mobile though on 93 mins, Tee Hee!0 -
Come on - it's two very mediocre sides in an otherwise dire league of football. They might as well toss a coin for the league.
Both teams would struggle to avoid relegation in the EPL.0 -
I was at United Vs Falkirk and thought it was piss poor for a 3 - 0 win, then I saw the "highlights" from the OF match on Sunday night, and realised that David Goodwillie wasting chances in the box isn't bad considering that's what both teams on Sunday did it repeatedly and their kit man probably gets paid a lot more than Goodie.Do Nellyphants count?

Both Rangers and Celtic have been in European Cup Finals in recent times, how many EPL teams have?0 -

Most of Rangers and Celtic's matches are gimmes against low quality opposition.0 -
