Leg measurement

Can anyone tell me what is the recommended (guide) degree of measurement that is often used for the difference between the upper and lower leg when setting-up a riding position? Specifically for road bike use.

I realise this can be set via the peddle axle - saddle height but I am sure I saw it mentioned in a past issue of C+.

Thanks

Not sure exactly what you mean. But I think you are referring to your knee angle.
typical range for road and tri is 145-155 degrees.

    Hope this helps.

  • Yes, that is what I was trying to convey. Many thanks for the information. I am going to go and measure my riding position on my bikes and see how it compares.
