    That is interesting and I'm considering trying it, although I do love eating pasta, I eat allot of it and whilst I do like rice, my fav is basmati ride, and that's white rice and as I understand it only brown rice is good for you? I'm not keen on brown rice because I don't really like the texture or taste much.

    I can understand the problems caused and why to avoid it,for years i have been sensitive to wheat and gluten so i avoid it,i still have it now and again just not too close together and not before or during a ride,i also love pasta and have found a buckwheat alternative which with a homemade pesto or sauce is very tasty and has all the carbs,same with porridge made from millet,rice flakes.Best to find a balance and what works for you if you are going to try it.
