Racer-x, as I've already said I have no problem with homosexuals whether they persue "masculine" careers or what sports either.

I agree with you homosexuals gravitate to professions where it is a more "comfortable" environment in which to work. I've worked in engineering for 32years and in that time I've met only a couple of homosexual men.

I do appreciate the turmoil being homosexual can cause one of my nephews tuned to the bottle and is now a alcoholic which doesn't drink and also tried to take his life but fortunately failed.

Chosing to be homosexual 40years ago was as appealing as being black in South Africa

you really believe that or is it wishful thinking ? thats the same as saying that if an asian is a good footballer he will make it if he is good enough ....... and we all know this is not the case if you look at the number of asians in english football. the reality is , is that if that 16 year old gay man declared to his team mates he was gay he wouldnt last long and imagine the team bath after a game !!!!! if a man finds other men sexually attractive then surely he should have separate changing rooms for the same reasons as men dont share with women

There are gays in many professions, crafty butchers, uphill gardeners and such.

Sports like football make it hard for gays (not like that), the last thing they want is 50,000 fans singing something like "He's gay, he's bent, his arsé is up for rent, Graeme Le Saux, Graeme Le Saux"... and Graeme Le Saux wasn't even a poof!

In Austria if you have ever been skiing you find they have mixed sex changing areas in the public heated swimming pools and it works fine.

a young naked gay man in a room full of other naked fit and healthy men , how is that any different than me in a ladies shower room, i would fancy some and not others, surely gay men fancy other men in the same way hetro men fancy women. im also sure that you would not find many straight men who would relish the prospect of being gazed upon by a openly gay man whilst showering. if ive got the wrong end of the stick i will gladly shower with the local sixth forms hockey team

but we are not in spain or austria we are in britain and last time i checked britains attitude towards anything of a sexual nature lags far behind our european neighbours. as for my confidence in showering with naked women i have to say im proud of my physique and would love to put your theory to the test. could you shower with a nubile 16 year old girl without getting even the slightest bit aroused ? if the answer is yes your either gay or had religious parents who brainwashed you into thinking any form of sex is a sin.

but im a man and as such have hormones . i respect jessica alba for her sterling work as an actress but id also like to park my mini pastey in her sausage warmer. and what planet do you seriously live on ? if i was found showering naked with my 16 year old sister im sure social services and the police would intervene. the are laws in this country that dont allow a brother and sister to share the same bedroom after a certain age i would also add that a nude nubile 16 year old is provocative by default

when I was pregnant with twins my local council told me a brother and sister could share a bedroom until they are 13! Social Services however set the age at (from memory so I may be wrong to 1 year) 11. At 3 and 4 there is certainly no reason at all why they shouldn't share a room. My son shares with his female cousin and they're both 5, in fact they insist on their beds being pushed together, there's NOTHING sinister in this, they just don't see each other very often (once or twice a year) and want to be close for as long as possible.

I think if you look at politics, 10 years ago it was unknown for someone to be openly gay, Now it is accepted. I think sport will be the same if more people come out and are open about there sexuality.

who says its accepted ???? the powers that be and other gay people maybe but the general public may have a different view. you can make homophobic behaviour a crime but you cant make peoples thoughts illegal . this applies to all issues circulating. ask your average person in the street for their opinions without fear of retribution for being frank and honest and i think the views collected would be somewhat at odds with what the governing bodies would have us believe

What i mean is that it is accepted that someone gay can go into politics now, They can have a job as a politician without the fear of being found out as being gay and kicked out.

I know alot of things are not accepted by people in general but at least the individual has a choice to make the most of there life without being excluded just because sexuality, Race, Disability, religion and so on.

fair point but as ive mentioned before these people only reveal themselves as gay once the position they desire has been attained, slightly off topic but will young kept it quiet until after he had won, gately and that mark from westlife kept it hidden until they hit the height of fame

i dont remember mentioning any kind of sex occurring or any soap being retrieved from the floor which is your thought so must be your fantasy, i was merely pointing out that naked people of differing genders are kept from showering together from mainly a sexual standpoint

id go shoe shopping with him then spend the evening watching mama mia whilst waxing each others backs, from your post you assume im a homophobe, im not , i have reservations about homosexuality but i keep such sentiments to myself. my neighbour is a gay man. i get on with him and treat him no differently
