Garmin 705 Odometer

had this for a while and love it. cant seem to find a way to display cumulative mileage in my display. if i go into profiles it is displayed under my bike but not selectable within data fields. anybody know a fix?

    Why would you want to see cumulative miles in your display?
    Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!

    doing a tour so it would be nice to see how far i've travelled in the main display.

    Press Menu. Settings -> Data Fields -> Bike Computer 1 -> then change the display fields by adding more data displayed then changing one of the fields ???
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    already tried that but there is no field for total distance.

    From the menu go to settings, profile and zones, bike profile there is an odometer for the bike profile that can be reset as needed to show total mileage.

    ive seen that mate but was wondering if there was a way to have it in the main display. maybe im being a bit picky lol

    If you are doing a tour, you just use the stop/start buttons and pick the Distance data field to show up on your bike profile. That's what I do anyway, i.e. don't reset the ride, just hit stop, turn off and next day hit start again?
