ive noticed on longish rides i get a pain in between my shoulder blades, just below my neck.
does this mean my bars are too narrow!!??

or that the top tube /stem is too long, bike in general is too big/small, or that you are too stiff or that you are not used to riding in that position, etc0 -
I once had a similar problem and it only seemed to affect me after about 50 miles. I turned the stem upside down and raised the bars eeeever so slightly. Neck pain disappeared.0

I had a similar problem, it was due to an imbalance in pelvis, etc...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0

Can also be that extra clothing due to winter is restricting your neck/head movement menaing you're working harder to hold your head up. Same can apply if your helmet/glasses are too low, as naturally bike fit issues involving too long/low stem or too cramped position generally. trial and error - change one thing at a time - benst bet is to check clothing and lift/flip stem to see if that helps.0
